Lake Tahoe - California/Nevada
February 21st
- 28th, 2004 (Saturday
to Saturday) Asian Outdoors' very first
ski week was held here five years ago and we are returning to Tahoe
with a great package. For those of you who have never been to the
Tahoe Basin; you will see the spectacular mountain scenery that you'd
come expect from Asian Outdoors. Lake Tahoe measures 22 miles long by
12 miles wide and its surface sits at 6,229' above sea level. A half
dozen ski resorts ring the lake. We will be skiing at three of them; 3-days at Heavenly Valley,
1-day at Kirkwood and 1-day at Sierra-Tahoe. Basically you ski 5 out
of 6 days. Are you into XC ski and/or snowshoe? Well nearby is the
Spooner Summit Nordic Center and about 90 minutes away in Soda Springs
is Royal Gorge; North America's largest Nordic ski area. |
OK, so your Significant
Other doesn't Alpine Ski or Snowboard. There are plenty of other
activities that will keep them busy. Our seven-night stay will be at
the 539-room Horizon Casino Resort Hotel. Think fabulous buffets,
think floor shows and other amenities at the Horizon and at other
nearby casino hotels; for starters; check out the Horizon at their
website www.horizoncasino.com
for more information. |
The base rate is $949 pp based on double occupancy. For those looking to enjoy the resort experience or to go XC skiing you can deduct the lift ticket cost to a rate of $777 pp based on double occupancy. See below for Terms and conditions.
