1. Camping @ Rudd Pond, Taconic State Park (upstate NY)

Date: August 5th - 7th, Friday thru Sunday

Cost: $12 for campsite for entire 3 days and about $15/person for food. Carpool fee is $15 (see below)

Join AOB and AONY for a fun weekend camping trip. AONY will have 2 campsites. We have 3 campsites reserved for AOB. Arrive by Friday nite (no later than 10 pm). Some of us will be leaving friday afternoon. Others will leave after work on Friday. Rudd Pond (Millerton, NY) is about a 2 hour drive from Boston, it is just over the border of western Mass. Meals provided - Sat. breakfast, lunch and dinner. Sunday - breakfast.

Amenities - wooden platforms for setting up tents, bathrooms and hot showers.

Things you will need - tent, sleeping bag, flashlight, sweater or light jacket, frisbee, board games, cards, bug spray, etc. If you do not have a tent - we will see if others have room in their tents or extra tents. Also bring a swimsuit, there is a pond for swimming. On Saturday there will be an easy hike to waterfalls.

Transportation is your responsibility. However, we will attempt to arrange carpools if needed. Please let me know if you can drive or need a ride and what town you will be coming from.
